A.B. Moore (American c. 1830)

A.B. Moore was an accomplished mid-nineteenth century portrait and landscape painter. Although his career is not fully recorded, his subjects are always well dressed and placed in classical American landscapes which indicates that the artist painted commissions for the upper classes and was most likely not an itinerant painter. A painting by the artist is in the collection of the National Galley in Washington, D.C.
